The expansion project of the Buzwagi substation in Tanzania was implemented on a turnkey basis, including the construction of a new 220 kV bay and the installation of 33 kV GIS switchgear with a 30 MVA power transformer.
Design, delivery, installation, installation supervision, and commissioning of the following equipment:
- Formation of the 220 kV busbar system
- Construction of a new 220 kV transformer bay
- 220/33 kV power transformer with a rated capacity of 30 MVA
- 33 kV gas-insulated switchgear (GIS)
- 400/230 V, 50 Hz AC transformation and distribution
- 110 V DC and -48 V DC uninterruptible power supply systems
- Control, signaling, protection, and measurement
- Electrical installations and lightning protection
- Earthing system
