Providing a comprehensive engineering service, the project involved the formation of a new 220 kV busbar system and the integration of a power transformer to increase grid capacity. Alongside the primary equipment, a compact 33 kV GIS (Gas-Insulated Switchgear) facility was installed, together with modern protection and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, significantly enhancing the reliability and safety of the entire hub.

Designed and Delivered Equipment

  • High-Voltage Facilities: Formation of the 220 kV busbar system and construction of a new 220 kV transformer bay.
  • 220/33 kV power transformer with a rated capacity of 30 MVA.
  • Modern 33 kV Gas-Insulated Switchgear (GIS).
  • 400/230 V AC transformation and distribution, along with 110 V DC and 48 V DC uninterruptible power supply systems.
  • Comprehensive control, signaling, protection, and measurement systems.
  • Electrical installations, earthing system, and lightning protection system.
