Modernization of the protection and synchronization systems was realized for five generator-transformer units with a total capacity exceeding 1300 MVA, including HV and MV cable bays. Through the preparation of the detailed design and rigorous field testing, maximum reliability and precise circuit breaker control were ensured for 220 kV and 400 kV operations.
